AkinCare think a little differently.
Gone are the days of waiting weeks to be contacted or having random companies showing up at your house unannounced, feeling left out of the conversation when it comes to your own supports. We put you at the heart of everything we do, AkinCare is a disability, aged care and DVA cleaning, support and maintenance passion project, born from the need for professional, reliable, real in home supports. We support, encourage and empower people to live a full and participative life; contributing to community and having a real, fulfilling lived experience regardless of what hurdles they may face.
Meet your regional Manager
Brendan joins the AkinCare Family with over 13 years service and multiple deployments including two tours of Afghanistan in the Australian Army. Having finished his career due to injury, Brendan recognises the needs for reliable support and understands first hand, the struggle to find reliable support. Brendan and his young family; consisting of himself, his wife and three school aged daughters, are all Townsville Locals and active members of the community through various academic and sports related endeavours. Brendan has always worked hard for his community and most recently worked for local charities assisting veterans & returned serving members. Brendan believes in AkinCare’s core values and our purpose statement and is excited to bring positive change to the support and services available to the greater Townsville community.
